Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Being initially attracted by the shadows on trees she spotted on grass, she spent months delving into a technique thatconversely did not convey the selected subject as a 2-dimensional representation on canvas. The object has been transformed into it's own representation with the canvas taking an interpretation by the artist. This is especially effective when dealing with living objects or objects that can be perishable like fruits and people. Alexa Meade's paintings are ephemeral however the photograph is what is left. Since the painting and photographic techniques are coordinated so closely it creates the trompe-l'oeil effect that creates the illusion of 3D appears only at specific places, for example the eye area or the hair. Sometimes, Meade integrates her painted models into the 3D environment around them, which allows the models to be part of their own self-created environment. The result is a blurring of the lines between painting, photography and installation.
