Coleman was born in Lancashire, and born in Blackpool. Coleman attended Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head of the school and scored straight A's in her A-levels. If Coleman was asked about her Emmerdale role she stated that it is regrettable not to have had the typical university experience. At the time of her schooling, Coleman was a part of a theater company named In Yer Space with whom she performed at the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. In 2009 she won nominations in two categories: Best Actress-Sexiest Female and Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman received a TV Choice Award for Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who revealed in a news conference held on the 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman was to be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat selected her for the part because she was the most effective when working with Smith and was able to speak faster than the actor. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the industry for over 30 years and is involved with numerous film and TV projects. She has been much more visible on television than in films. Eva played many parts on the screen, but two stand out: the Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vistas' in CSI Miami. Eva was nominated for 2 "Daytime Emmys" in the role she played in both shows, as well as getting the opportunity to express her musical creativity. Eva, in addition to acting as an actress, is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. She has been married three times, and has a daughter and a second husband.
