Dua Lipa is an English musician and singer who was born August 22nd, 1995, in London United Kingdom. After having worked as a model her decision was to join Warner Bros Records and release her first album. The album reached the top 3 spot at the U.K. Charts and produced eight singles. This included Be the One I.D.G.A.F, the U.K. Number One single New Rules as well as the U.K. No. 1 single New Rules. She is the daughter of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. She is of Bosnian heritage via her maternal grandmother. Her ancestors can also be traced back to the Kosovo city of Peja. Both of her grandfathers were historians. Her siblings include Rina as well as Gjin. Lipa was heavily influenced by music by her father the lead singer and guitarist of the Kosovan rock group Oda. In her home, Lipa's father was still playing music.
